Synthetic CDO volumes soar, finds Creditflux

Creditflux has published the results of its survey of the synthetic CDO market in 2006. The findings show that synthetic CDO issuance grew to $450 billion in 2006 in terms of tranche notional, more than double the $224 billion issued in 2005
