Basis Capital sues Goldman over Timberwolf CDO
Defunct Australian hedge fund Basis Capital has filed a lawsuit against Goldman Sachs this week over its purchase of part of the Timberwolf CDO
The Congressional hearings targeting Goldman have essentially become free discovery for investors looking to sue over their losses. The emails from Goldman bankers will ensure more suits to come. To paraphrase Chairman Mao, "May a thousand lawsuits blossom."
