Attendees at today's Creditflux Credit Symposium heard that pension funds are displaying heightened interest in alternative credit strategies such as direct lending and CLOs

Speaking of pension funds and direct lending, Jimmy Hoffa was the U.S. pioneer in this field. When he led the Teamsters in the late 1950's through the 60's, he made lots of loans with union money. My guess is that this infamous organized crime activity is not the history that today's credit analysts will want to review.
