A large number of sell-side CLO specialists have reinvented themselves as buy-side marketers in recent years. But in a rare move, one experienced CLO banker has joined a leading credit manager in a CLO portfolio management role.

Structurer/arranger and PM need different skill sets and different temperaments. But it may well be that this gentleman will adapt to the new role. I wish him success!

I can think of a few bankers going on to manage structured credit assets. But no one to my mind has gone on to manage loans

Struggling to think of another CLO banker making a move into loan management. Anyone got any examples?
