MFS CLO equity holders miss out as GM bankruptcy case drags on

Equity investors in a recently-called MFS Investment Management CLO have missed out on $3.3 million in liquidation proceeds after the deal was named a defendant in a court case relating to General Motors’ 2009 bankruptcy

What a fascinating error by the law firm (Mayer Brown)! A new "operational risk" is created! We must now guard against our law firms unwittingly gutting the collateral rights securing our loans! That will be a tough one to model ....
