One aspect of this whole drama I'd never considered before now is the entanglement of US - Argentina diplomatic relations. I'm surprised the US State Department or the Attorney General has not stepped on the judicial system. I'm glad there's been no interference but surprised. For example, I expect there was Executive Branch involvement in the large fine of BNP.
