Citi looks to place $100 million bespoke mezz tranche

Citi has traded around $700 million of bespoke tranches in 2016 so far, according to internal communications seen by Creditflux

Am surprised to see this product coming back. Regardless, Citi and other dealers should approach Fannie and Freddie to sell tranche protection on mortgage portfolios (which the dealers would then place with real clients). Fannie and Freddie want the "risk transfer" and they won't mind the holes. (Intended to be somewhat funny.)
